Generally, there are four lessons, 1.5 hours (90 minutes) in length each. Longer or shorter classes can be accommodated. Students must use our cars and have a valid Pennsylvania learner's permit, or equivalent.
Prices are very reasonable but could vary due to scheduling and proximity. Multiple lesson discounts could be available. Six-hour packages (four 1.5 hour classes) may often be discounted.
We have no problems with picking students up at home, conducting a lesson, and then dropping the student at work or school.
Because students have different skill levels, the instructors will tailor the lessons to the skills and experience of each student. Early lessons would be conducted in a “quiet” low traffic volume situation for a beginner. High traffic volume and expressways would be reserved for experienced students only. Our behind the wheel (BTW) instructions are aligned with programs recommended by AAA and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
We have experience in working with beginners who are young and old alike. The teachers are “easy going” and help the students develop their skills in a slow, reassuring manner. They know that students develop skills at different rates and new techniques are added only at the appropriate times. All of our instructors have had criminal record and child abuse clearance checks. Their driving records have been checked, tested, and cleared by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
